The FJ Boys accompany themselves on fiddle, guitar and banjo playing and singing country, bluegrass and folk tunes that are recognizable and energetic.
They can do a stage show or stroll through the crowd.
BIOS
Al LaMonaca, a Roots and Bluegrass mainstay of the Calgary music scene for decades; has played guitar, banjo and dobro in acoustic bands, duos and trios: Hothouse Bluegrass Band (opened for Alison Kraus in Calgary) and Wheatland County (kicked off the very first Edmonton Folk Festival in 1978) to name a few.
BRUCE ROHN
A much in demand fiddle and guitar player on the Roots scene in Southern Alberta, Bruce plays all fiddle styles including Celtic, bluegrass, Country and old time.
